Masters in Architecture

Pulchowk Campus offers a comprehensive Masters in Architecture (M.Arch) program, a two-year advanced degree that prepares professionals to become innovative architects capable of addressing contemporary design challenges and urban development needs. The curriculum systematically develops expertise across essential areas including:

  • Architectural Theory & Contemporary Issues: Advanced understanding of architectural principles, design philosophy, and current trends in global architecture.
  • Sustainable & Responsive Design: Comprehensive knowledge of ecologically responsive architecture, sustainable construction methods, and climate-sensitive design strategies.
  • Urban Design & Planning: Expertise in urban design principles, transport planning, and sustainable landscape architecture for comprehensive urban development.
  • Digital Design & Technology: Understanding of digital media in design, building technology, advanced interior design, and computer analysis tools for architectural research.
  • Professional Practice & Research: Specialized skills in architectural research methodology, design studio practice, and project development from concept to completion.

By the end of the program, graduates are equipped to become lead architects, urban planners, design consultants, and researchers capable of addressing the complex challenges of creating innovative, sustainable, and contextually appropriate architectural solutions.
