Bachelors in Architecture

Pulchowk Campus offers a well-rounded Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program, a five-year journey that blends creativity with technical mastery. The curriculum systematically builds knowledge and skills across crucial areas including:

  • Architectural Design: Through a progressive series of design studios, students develop their conceptual and practical design abilities.
  • Building Science & Technology: A deep understanding of building materials, construction methods, structural engineering, and building services.
  • Architectural History & Theory: Exploration of architectural movements, design philosophies, and urban development.
  • Digital & Manual Representation: Proficiency in drafting, freehand sketching, and computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Professional Practice: Essential knowledge in building economics, estimating, costing, construction management, and architectural conservation.

By the end of the program, graduates are equipped to step into a wide range of roles in architecture and construction, ready to tackle both design challenges and the practical demands of the field.
